Open Day Volunteering Opportunity
Want to gain volunteering experience over the summer to boost your CV? Are you a people’s person, keen to share their experience and knowledge?
Two Open Days will be running at the University of Manchester on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd June, welcoming prospective students to the campus to explore university life.
We need 4 Ambassadors to help as volunteers at the Students’ Union during the Open Days, which will both be running from 10am – 4pm. You will be joining other Ambassadors, Volunteers and student initiatives across the Students’ Union and University to discuss your role as Diversity & Wellbeing Student Ambassadors and the types of activity you have engaged in.
Another aspect of your role will be to run the Where do you draw the line? Activity, which explores different micro-aggression’s (a micro-aggression is a subtle and often indirect form of discrimination). If you are not already aware of this activity, we will brief you beforehand.
Lunch will be provided for all Ambassadors on the day.
If you are interested, want to find out more and want to get involved, please email Lewis Toumazou on firstname.lastname@example.org
