Students wanted for focus groups: your opinion on progressing to postgraduate study
We are looking for students to be participants in a workshop designed to gauge your opinion on activities to inform current UG students’ decision to progress to taught postgraduate study. There will be no ‘wrong’ answers, and honest opinions will be welcomed!
This is part of a project funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to support diversity and fair access in postgraduate study. As such, preference will be given to students who define as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME), students who came through the Manchester Access Programme (MAP), or students who are in receipt of the Manchester Bursary or Manchester Master’s Bursary. Please state whether any of these apply to you when completing the form below.
There are two workshops, one for current UG students, and one for current PGT students (or PhD students who have done a taught master’s course). You will be allocated to whichever one applies to you.
Refreshments will be provided!
Wednesday 21st March 2018
- 11am – 12:30pm (Current UG students)
- 3 – 4:30pm (Current PGT students, or PhD students who have done a taught master’s course)
How to take part:
Please complete this form: https://apps.mhs.manchester.ac.uk/surveys//TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=764M6750 by 8am on Monday 19th March. You will receive an email that day to let you know whether or not you will need to be invited to take part in this project (depending on the number of responses received).
